the electric rifle is inspired by the soviet adopted svd dragunov real gun, starting fro 1964 the gun is ised by USSR and related Varsavia pact areas
also made under license in CINA, IRAN, PAKISTAN...and they still use the gun for their specail corps units
The Dragunov was designed as a squad support weapon since, the long-range engagement ability was lost to ordinary troops when small and lighter assoult rifles were adopted
